Brett parrott video example
I picked this mostly because of its abstract and surrealistic style as well as its symbolic and creepy use of practical effects and (as with all tool music videos) the relationship between the music and the visual stimulation.
It's interesting how the video makers decided to represent the song this way. The song is about an everyday topic but the imagery invites you to interpret it in different ways.
This has cool effects, especially as much of it is practical effects and stop motion. It has very visually striking images. It's a bit strange and grotesque for my taste, though.
