Brett Parrott Video project

"YearWalk." The content of this video was largely inspired by the videogame yearwalk, and of the actual swedish visionquest of the same name. The visuals were inspired by blackmetal album art, and also out of necessity since not all of the shots were shot during the day. In terms of the audio i wanted the sounds to appear surreal and reverberate much more than naturally possible given the environment. Initially i wanted the video to have a more inspirational or spiritual narrative, but to create an actual resolution to the video i decided to give it all a somewhat creepy or eerie atmosphere.
