Blame Your Brother is a group of 5 or 6 guys in Toronto that make animations for marketing ads and some television work, I think. I like the quality and feel of their vector animations. Some look very simple and flat. Others are quite complicated.

Shabello is a freelance designer from the UK. This whale animation https://dribbble.com/shots/2334240-Whalespin is a cool example of using 2D to look 3D. I also liked this video: https://vimeo.com/101325080 because of the animation of typography.
I wonder if the whale animation was created with 3D software after all, because on the webpage it mentions that the artist created a rig. Then maybe they used flat colors to make it appear 2D. Either way, they achieved a nice effect that makes the viewer question how it's made.
