Socio Political - Mental Illness Stigma

My image is about mental illness and stigma behind it.  Many people think mental illness is something that would never happen to them, or their loved ones.  I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder, depressed type.  My family refuses to accept that I have a mental illness that affects my daily life.  They want to pretend that it's nothing, or just me being lazy, or I'm just having a bad day.  I cannot tell some people about my mental illness because suddenly I'm this stereotype.  So many people have no understanding of mental illnesses and how they actually affect the people living with them.
