I think this idea is pretty cool, and I heard about your new idea. Both are very interesting, though I think the second is more thought provoking and engaging with today's thoughts on the uses of tech. I would definitely encourage you to look at some of the science of tech enhancing people's lives. If nothing else than for your own knowledge, there is a lot of really cool ideas happening out there. Robotics, cybernetics, and other scifi sounding things that are about helping enhance the human form. :)
I definitely like the concept of a futuristic runway model wearing some sort of piece that has an explainable or implied use to show off some sort of futuristic technology in whatever backstory world you create. I can't remember exactly how you explained your new idea, but I remember Lisa mentioning the fashion model idea, and I think that could be super neat.
