This video is a development/pre-visualization of  the pneumatic driver for my kinetic sculpture. The green cylinder is a air valve that will start/stop air flow when commanded from an Arduino. The white cylinder is a pneumatic cylinder with a hollow steel tube and a return spring attached to the plunger. When air is applied the tube is driven forward, and  the air flowing from it forces the LED out the end of the device as shown. I used this visualization to simplify my final design.

early blender camera tracking

This is a work intended as part of an installation, and as a visualization of the finished work.
As presented I used the digital effects and roughness  to emphasize that this is a pre-visualization. My final intent, never realized, was to have the actual pieces of this work in the locations, as shown, in Henrion Hall, where this video would be playing. The small sculpture has been cast in aluminum. The large cardboard maguette, not completed, with pride of place on the pedestal would have been used to give a subversion of scale and importance. The video was designed emphasize a subversion of time.
